A cool can is simply a little tank full of ice water with fuel line coiled inside. Drag racers use cool cans to chill the fuel before it enters the carburetor. This prevents vaporization of the fuel due to hot underhood temperatures and ensures a consistent air/fuel mixture to the engine. They were pioneered in the early days of Pro-Stock and are still used today. Calnaga's cool can is typically sized with actual dimensions of approx. 0.280" tall, 0.250" diameter top and 0.218" diameter body. Includes fuel inlet and outlet fittings, a drain fitting on the bottom, and molded-in mounting brackets.
