Starter Bracket, Vintage Drag

$5.00

Often overlooked on scale blown drag engines is the starter motor bracket.  Crews locked in a starter motor to this bracket to crank the engine over from the blower pulley.  Once the motor was running, they unhooked it and put the body down.  Calnaga offers you two styles of bracket, one located in front of the pulley and another behind the belt and in front of the blower case.  You also get the pulley drive hub.  This little guy has the three drive ramps and six screws printed in, a part you'll never find in a kit.  You get three of each: front mount bracket, rear mount bracket, pulley drive hub.  3D printed, resin color may vary.

The starter brackets have the three keyhole slots for the starter motor printed in.  The front mount has six posts and hex nuts.  The posts are a scale 6.5" long to give you ample length to fit over your belt.  The rear mount style has five posts with countersinks to represent the flathead screws used to fasten to the blower case.  Both mounts fit Calnaga's GMC 6-71 blower great.
